I could’ve done without so many scenes though. Ghost and Luca are a bit in their honeymoon phase so that’s to be expected, I guess. There are a lot of sex scenes in this book. Read that series first if you’re into dark romance and plan on reading that series anyways? It does seem like there’s a slight spoiler for the GNB books if you’re still wondering who Mr. But I think we can all agree that Frederico is awful and disgusting and it really threw me off seeing him here. Have we met Luca before? I don’t remember. I’m not sure where this book falls in the timeline of the GNB series. When it turns out Zara is actually a man called Luca, Ghost winds up confused but wanting nothing more than to save Luca from the clutches of an Italian mafioso.
Which is why he seems more fixated on Zara and marrying her more than anything. Well, Ghost doesn’t have much going for him anymore and he misses being a doctor more than anything. We first met Ghost in Tooth and Lucifer’s book in book 2 of this series and he was the doctor who winded up getting his license revoked.
